Here are some of the most notable items that you may find of interest in this release:
Note: Your IMS may not yet be updated to this specific version. Please contact our Support team for information regarding when your system will be updated with the latest version.
These notes are organized in the order of the menu to which the item corresponds within the IMS under the Incident Management menu.
Ability to Hide User Address
You can now hide the address listed in the user record as needed for privacy concerns. This prevents administrators from entering, viewing, or editing the address in the User record, on the Home tab profile, or when creating a new Contact while reporting an Incident. If enabled, only administrators with the Master security role can access the user address. To enable this feature, please contact Convergence Support.
Deactivate Places and Contacts
Now you can deactivate Places and Contacts that you no longer want to use. Once deactivated, they no longer display in the list of available Places and Contacts, but still remain associated with any incidents with which they have been used. You can reactivate them anytime.
Delete Used Configuration Items
You can now delete items from the Incident Management Configuration page that have already been used in an incident. This can be helpful if you have items that you no longer use, and want to keep your lists current and to a minimum. Requires the Master security role. Used items from any of the following Configuration types can be deleted:
- Root Causes
- Injuries & Illnesses
- Body Parts
The item will no longer be a selection when reporting or investigating a new incident, but will still be associated with any existing incident in which it was used, and it will still display on reports.
New Incident Type: Regulatory
We have added a new incident type called Regulatory so you can report regulatory situations such as audits and inspections. This is also included on the Incident by Type Report. No additional fields are associated with Regulatory. This incident type is a matter of record only, and allows you to report on these incident types.
View Options Now Retain Their Settings
View Options on the Incidents page has been updated to retain settings so you no longer have to reset them each time you leave and return to the page. When you click on the View Options button, the Show Current Year Only, Uncategorized Root Cause, and Include Rejected toggles now retain their settings for the duration of your logged-in session.
Incident Detail Report Changes
The existing Incident Detail Report has been split into two new reports. This change allows you to filter the Incident Detail Report by date range or incident ID:
- The new Incident Detail by Date Range Report allows you to view details about selected incidents by date range.
- The new Incident Detail Report by Incident ID allows you to view details about selected incidents by incident ID number. The data on this report is the same as the former Incident Detail Report.
Incident Rate Report Changes
- A new report, the Total Incidence Rates Report provides yearly and year-to-date incidence rates by establishment.
- The former Incidence Rates Report is renamed the Monthly Incidence Rate Report, and can now be run by organization or establishment.
OSHA 300 and 300A Report Changes
Now you can filter the OHSA 300 and 300A forms by tags. This change allows you to use tags to identify worksites, so that you can file the forms by worksite instead of establishment. For more information about tags, please refer to the Tags: Add, Edit and Delete article.
Outstanding Corrective Actions Report Change
The Outstanding Corrective Actions Report has been changed to include a Due Date column so that you can easily view the due date of each Corrective Action.
