INTRODUCTION
The Learn App allows users to access assigned training. Completion records will automatically be updated in the LMS when a user completes training using the mobile app. Using the app is the same as if you are logged into the LMS on a desktop computer and clicked on the Training tab. The Learn App does not allow users to enroll in electives. It will allow users to launch electives the user has previously enrolled in.

This article is an overview of the Learn App to provide users with an introduction to the Welcome screen and tips for navigation and launching training from the app. This article assumes the user has already logged into the Learn App.
The Learn App automatically filters on activities that are mobile compatible. Certain activities cannot be launched in the Learn App. Please refer to the Mobile Apps: Mobile Compatibility Explained article to learn which activities are mobile compatible and how to set mobile compatibility in the LMS for your activities.
WELCOME SCREEN
Immediately after login, the Welcome screen appears. The screen is divided into two sections: My Overall Progress and Upcoming Training Due.
My Overall Progress
- The top section of the screen displays a circle graph that visually displays a percentage of all training that has been completed. All training is assigned training and electives.
- The three dots highlighted in blue indicates two more screens are available to view.
- Swipe left to view a circle graph that displays a percentage of completed Mandatory Training (assigned training).
- Swipe left again to view a circle graph that displays a percentage of completed Optional Training (electives).
Upcoming Training Due
- This section displays a list of activities with a status of "Incomplete" and "In Progress".
- This section does not include activities with the status of "Overdue". This means any training with an overdue status will no be listed in this section.
- Click the Details button (highlighted in yellow) to view additional details about the activity and launch the activity. For example, due date, duration, type, status, and description. Take the following actions:
- Click the Launch CBT button at the bottom of the screen to launch the activity.
Note: CBT will be replaced by the type of activity. For example, if you are launching a Tasklist the button will read Launch Tasklist. - Click the Left Arrow on the top right of the screen to return to the Welcome screen.
- Click the Launch CBT button at the bottom of the screen to launch the activity.
- Click the My Training button on the bottom of the Welcome screen to move to the My Training Plan screen.
MY TRAINING PLAN - OVERVIEW AND MENU
My Training Plan displays training in the same way that it is displayed when you launch the LMS on a desktop computer.
- Individual activities display first. then qualifications will appear in alphabetical order, followed by enrolled electives.
- The colored dot that appears before the title of the activity denotes the status:
Gray: Incomplete
Green: Complete
Yellow: In Progress
Red: Overdue - Click the Menu icon in the upper right corner of the screen. You can perform any of the following actions:
My Training: returns to the My Training Plan screen
Settings: change the LMS URL.
Subscription: view when you subscribed and when your license will renew.
Logout: logs out of the mobile app
Cancel: returns to the previous screen
SEARCH BY KEYWORDS
The filter provides two methods to search and locate assigned activities:
- Type Keywords
- Scan a QR Code
Note: Please refer to the Assets - LMS: Add Assets and Relate to Training Content article to learn how to create QR Codes and associate them with an activity or qualification. Once associated, they can be scanned in the mobile app to present all training associated with an asset.
- Click the Filter button in the upper left corner of the screen.
- Type all or part of the title of the activity in the Search field.
- As you type, the screen will start to display activities that include what you have typed.
- Click the thumbnail to launch the activity.
- Type (Optional): Select the type of activity from the drop-down list if you want to narrow your search to a particular activity type.
- Status (Optional): Select the activity status from the drop-down list if you want to narrow your search to a particular activity status.
- Mobile Only (Optional):
Toggle Off: to view all activities whether they are mobile compatible or not.
Toggle On: to view activities that are mobile compatible only.
- As you make your selections, filters will be added and any activities that apply to the filters will display
- Click any thumbnail to launch the activity.
- Click the Filter button to hide the filter selections.
- Click the "x" on the filter to remove the filter selections.
SCAN QR CODE
- Click the Filter button in the upper left corner of the screen.
- Click the Scan button in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Your camera will launch.
- Scan the QR code. Once scanned, the QR Code number will populate the scan field.
- Type (Optional): Select the type of activity from the drop-down list if you want to narrow your search to a particular activity type.
- Status (Optional): Select the activity status from the drop-down list if you want to narrow your search to a particular activity status.
- Mobile Only (Optional):
Toggle Off: to view all activities whether they are mobile compatible or not.
Toggle On: to view activities that are mobile compatible only.
- As you make your selections, filters will be added and any activities that apply to the filters will display

FILTERS
Filters can be applied to narrow the activities that appear on the list by Type, Status, or Mobile Only.
Set a Filter
- Click the Filter button in the upper left corner of the screen.
- Type (Optional): Select the type of activity from the drop-down list if you want to narrow your search to a particular activity type.
- Status (Optional): Select the activity status from the drop-down list if you want to narrow your search to a particular activity status.
- Mobile Only (Optional):
Toggle Off: to view all activities whether they are mobile compatible or not.
Toggle On: to view activities that are mobile compatible only.
- As you make your selections, filters will be added and any activities that apply to the filters will display
- Click any thumbnail to launch the activity.
- Click the Filter button to hide the filter selections.
- Click the "x" on the filter to remove the filter selections.
Remove a Filter
- Click the "x" to the left of the filter to remove the filter.
- When you remove the mobile filter it will display all activities assigned.
- The following activities cannot be launched using the Learn App: classes, events, signature activities, documents or CBTs that include Flash, and activities that are not set to mobile compatible in the activity record.

- To reset the mobile compatible filter, click the Filter button and then click the Mobile Only toggle to green.
