INTRODUCTION
At Convergence Training, our goal is to provide a superior software and support experience for every customer. With that in mind, our team works constantly to add features and functionality that make work easier, more efficient, and enhance software performance.
Here are our most recent additions and improvements to the latest version of the Learning Management System (LMS).
Below are some of the most notable items that you may find of interest in this release:

ORGANIZATION
Import Users to Groups
- You can now add or remove users to or from a group via a spreadsheet. This will be a significant time-saver if you have a lot of users to manually add to a Static group.
- An Export button in the Group record creates a spreadsheet of all the users the administrator has access to.
- You can then put an X in the “Included In Group” column for each person you want to add to the group. Remove the X for any that you want to remove from the group who are already in it. Save the spreadsheet, and use the Import button to add/remove users to or from the group.

TRAINING IMPORT AND CREATION
Import YouTube Videos
- Now you can include YouTube videos as part of your training curriculum in the LMS.
- When you import a video, you can select “Link from YouTube” as a source for the video. Copy/paste the YouTube link, and complete the import process, and the video becomes part of your LMS content library and can be assigned to your users.

Class Session Details Section
- A new Session Details section is on the Edit Session screen where you can add details about the class session, and even include a link to a virtual meeting.
- The information will be included in the classes notification that goes to the attendee, and displays on the user’s training plan, so they can view the meeting details from there, and also access the meeting link.

Classes: Create, Update, and Delete: added the new Notes option for virtual meeting information or for each class session.
Classes - Notify Instructors When Added to Class Session
- Two new notifications - the “Instructor Added to Class Session,” and “Instructor Removed from Class Session” notify users or contacts that they have been added or removed as an instructor for a class session.
- Each notification shows the class name, and other details such as instructors, topic, session date and time, and other details.
- Notifications must be enabled.

ASSIGNMENTS
"Activities I Have Permissions For" Added to Assignments
- When selecting activities to assign, the option to choose “Activities I Have Permissions For” is now available under Step 1 of the Assign Training screen.
- Only the specific activities that the administrator has access to will then display.

Assign Training: Advanced Scheduling - updated Steps 1 and 2 to reflect the new selection.
Assign Training: Basic Scheduling - updated Steps 1 and 2 to reflect the new selection.
"Special Assignment Instructions" Field
- A new field at the bottom of the Assign Training screen under “Step 4: Optional Settings,” lets you add additional instructions for the assignment which will then be included in the text of the New Assignment Notification that is sent to users.
- The "New Assignment Notification" must be enabled for users to receive it.

REPORTS
"Activities I Have Permissions For" Added to Reports
The option for an administrator to run reports on “Activities I Have Permissions For” has been added to the following reports:
- Activity Exception Report
- Activity Assigned Status Report
- Assignment Completion Records Report
- User Activity Transcript Report
- Activity Accomplishment Report
- Activity Completion Records and Attachments Report
- Activity Due Date Report
Qualification Certificate Report - QR Code Added
- A QR code now displays on the Qualification Certificate Report. This is a report that can be generated by the user from the user’s Training Plan when they have completed a qualification.
- An administrator can scan the QR code with a mobile device to view details about the user including training completions, name, profile picture, job title, and team.
- Scanning the QR code directs to the browser of the device, and prompts for LMS administrator login credentials.
- This can be particularly helpful for use with the Contractor LMS for verification when a contractor has completed a qualification.

Qualification Certificate Report: updated the sample report and the content to include the addition of the QR Code
User Report - External ID and Fields 1 - 4
Additional columns display on the User Report when you export the report to Excel:
- External ID – which displays the unique identifier if synchronizing with an HR system.
- Fields 1 – 4, which display data entered in Fields 1, 2, 3, and 4 in the Advanced Properties section of the User record.
