What are the cost of the mobile apps?
Please refer to the Convergence Mobile: Overview article to learn the cost of each mobile application, the details for you to get reduced pricing and their recommended use.
Do I have to download and use all the mobile applications?
No. You can download the apps you want using only the ones you need. For example, the Credit App is only designed for administrators to use. Therefore, only administrators with a security role that allows them to credit activities need to download the Credit app. Please refer to the Convergence Mobile: Overview article for an overview of each app and their use.
Why do we have three applications as opposed to one?
It was to keep each application simple and focused. Each app has a specific purpose and a specific audience. With very little direction, any user or admin can use the device to complete the function they want to perform.
Can I use the mobile apps for the Contractor LMS?
We recommend that if your contractor employees want to use a mobile device like an iPad or tablet that they launch any web browser (Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, or Safari, etc), enter the URL and take the training. We do not advise that they use a mobile phone to take the training as the screen is too small.
Can a company purchase multiple licenses for their employees and get a price break?
Yes. You can purchase up to 100 registrations from the mobile device and a price break will automatically be applied. Please contact your sales representative if you want more than 100 registrations.
What is a QR Code?
A QR Code is a barcode you can use during installation so that you do not have to manually type the URL to register.
Can everyone use the same QR Code to install all the apps?
Yes. You can forward the QR Code to everyone who will be installing the apps. And, they can use the same QR code for each app.
How do I get the QR Code for my company?
Please email our support team. Give them the name of your company and they will be happy to send you a QR Code.

Where do signatures appear when you collect them using the Credit App?
Completion Record: All activities you credit using the Credit App the signatures collected will be added to the Completion Record. Follow the steps to View A Completion Record. The signatutre will appear at the bottom of the screen.
Takslist Report: When you track tasklists using the Credit App, the signatures collected will appear on the Tasklist Report.
Why don't any activities appear int he Learn App when I log in?
Only activities marked as "Mobile Compatible" (Yes) in the Learning Management System will be available to be used within the App. To set the Mobile Compatible Flag to YES:
- Log into the LMS
- Click on Administration
- Click Activities >> Activities
- Search and locate the desired Activity
- Click the Edit button to the left of the desired Activity name
- Check the Mobile Compatible checkbox
- Click the Save button
If you license any content from Convergence, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and request that we enable Mobile Compatibility on your licensed content.
If you've developed your own content, you may need to do some testing with it by setting the Mobile Compatible Flag to Yes and then assigning training to yourself and launching the content through the App to make sure it works before assigning that training to users.
Any training that launches into a New Tab or New Window when using the LMS via Browser will not be compatible with the App.
