Here are our most recent improvements to the latest version of the Incident Management System (IMS). Additional articles that will cover the specifics of new features or functionality are forthcoming.

These notes are organized in the order of the menu to which the item corresponds within the IMS under the Incident Management menu.
Added Three California Forms
Now you can select, complete, and print three California forms, which can be found within the Incident screen:
- California Form 5020: Employer’s Report of Occupational Injury or Illness
- California Form DWC1: Workers’ Compensation Claim Form
- California Form SR1: Report of Traffic Accident in California
Articles for these forms are under development and will be added to the Online Help Center soon.
New Motor Vehicle Incident Details Section Added
A Motor Vehicle Details section has been added to the Assets tab when recording a motor vehicle incident.
By editing Assets (vehicle) or 3rd Party Vehicles Involved, the Incident Specific screen will appear. You can enter vehicle information into a variety of fields. That data will print on the newly added vehicle accident forms for California.
Please refer to the Assets Tab article to learn how to edit an asset that has been added to an incident to add the additional information. You can also view how to complete the 3rd Party Vehicle Involved section.
Create New Places on the Incident Tab
When creating a new incident or editing an existing incident you can add a new Place. Previously when creating an incident that required the addition of new Places, you would have to add them on the Manage Places screen.

Create New Contacts on the People Tab
When creating a new incident or editing an existing incident you can add a new Contact. Previously when creating an incident that required the addition of a new Contacts, you would have to add them on the Manage Contacts screen.

New Forms Button on the Incident Details Screen
The OSHA 301 and MSHA 7000-1 buttons have been replaced by a Forms button on the Incident Details Screen. Click the Forms button to print any of the following forms:
- OSHA Form 301
- MSHA Form 7000-1
- California Form 5020
- California Form SR-1
- California Form DWC-1
The Print button will print the Incident Detail Report.
New Verify Completion of Corrective Action Notification
Administrators can now receive an email notification when all corrective action owners have completed their assigned corrective action(s).

Add Users to Groups on the Edit Establishment Screen
We have added a feature called "Select Group Members" on the Edit Establishment screen, so you can add users to groups without having to go out to the Groups menu.
Workers Compensation Insurance Information
The Establishment Screen has been modified by adding:
- Unemployement Insurance Account No. field.
- Workers Compensation Insurance Information where you can record the Policy No., Inusrance Carrier and their address, city state and zip.
The Unemployment Insurance Account No field and the data collected in the Workers Compensation Insurance information section will print on the new California Form DWC1: Workers’ Compensation Claim Form added to this release.

Employer Type Field
The Establishment Screen has been modified by adding the Employer Type field. The Employer Type field will check the appropriate boxes in the Employer Type section of the California Form 5020 Employer’s Report of Occupational Injury or Illness.

New Help Text Added to Incident Rate Data Details and Historical Tabs
Previously, the field titles had no explanations for their meaning or purpose. Now, you can click in the Help icon (?) next to each field to reveal detailed instructions on the purpose of the data and how the IMS will use it.
