INTRODUCTION
The Learning Management System (LMS) offers a variety of reports organized by the menu categories below. Not all reports are available in every LMS:

Frequently Used Reports | Quick access to a selection of reports which are generally considered the most commonly used. | All |
Activity Reports | Reports that provide data on activities assigned to users with a completion status of in progress, overdue and completed | All |
Qualification Reports | Reports that provide data on qualifications assigned to users with a completion status of in progress, overdue and completed | Enterprise Only |
Training Program Reports | Reports that provide data on (MSHA) training programs assigned to users with a completion status of in progress, overdue and completed | MSHA Only |
User Reports | Reports that provide user specific details (For example, roles, system activities, certificates of completion and transcripts) | All but Contractor LMS |
Organizational Reports | Reports that provide organization details. For example, organization structure and security role assignment | All but Contractor LMS |
MSHA Compliance Reports | (Located under the MSHA Compliance menu) Reports for MSHA compliance | MSHA Only |
Scheduled Reports | Displays this list of recurring scheduled reports that have been created by your LMS administrators | All |
Custom Reports | Displays custom reports created for your organization | All |
REPORT FUNCTIONS
Report functions include:

REPORT NAVIGATION
When you click on any menu category, a list of reports for that category will appear. You can perform any of the following actions:
Search: Search by all or part of the report name to locate the desired report
Export: Allows you to export a list of reports to an Excel file
The screen column headers included are:
Actions Column
The Actions column displays three icons that allow you to:
View Reports: View the report in the same browser window
Popup: View the report in a separate browser window or tab
Preview: Hover over the button to view a sample of the report
Report Name
Reports are listed in in random order. Click the Report Name header to view the reports in ascending or descending alphabetical order.
Report Group
Each report is assigned a report group. Click on the green linked name to view a filtered list of reports by group. Click the Remove Filter button located at the top of the window to remove the filter and return to the report list.
My Last Run
The date and time the current admin last ran the report. Click the My Last Run header to view the reports in ascending or descending date and time order.
Description
Displays a description of every report. Click the Description header to view the reports in ascending or descending alphabetical order.
REPORT TERMINOLOGY
The following is a list of terms used in reports:
Term | Definition |

Assigned | Training assigned to the user |
Completion Record | Training completed by a user generates an electronic completion record |
Enrolled | Training offered as an elective |
Exception | Any status except Complete (For example, Incomplete, In Progress, or Overdue) |
Not Assigned | Training not assigned to the user Note: If the completion status reflects complete, an LMS administrator processed a manual completion record without first assigning the training |
Status | The LMS will reflect one of the following: Complete, Incomplete, In Progress, or Overdue |
Transcript | A list of training completed by the user within a specified date range |
COMMON REPORT PARAMETERS (FILTERS)
Each report allows you to select from a variety of parameters (filters) that allow you to include or exclude data on the report. The following is a list of the most common parameters and a description of what they allow you to do:

Activity | Select one or more activities |
Assigned Status | Select one or more of the following - Assigned, Not Assigned, Enrolled, Not Enrolled |
Cover Page | Displays the report parameters selected to run the report as the first page of the report |
Date (Start/End) | Enter the desired report start and end date |
Qualification | Select one or more qualifications (Enterprise LMS only) |
Training Program | Select one or more training programs (LMS with MSHA compliance features only) |
Show Location | Sorts and displays report results by organization unit |
Start Expanded | When checked, all fields that display a plus sign will appear in an expanded view |
Status | Select one of the following - Only Incomplete, Only Complete, or Complete and Incomplete |
User | Select one or more user(s), organization unit(s), group(s), security roles or assigned activities |
