INTRODUCTION
There are three methods to locate an assignment:
- Manage Assignments: Use this method when you know the activity or qualification that was assigned or who you assigned the activity to. For example, you assigned the New Hire Orientation to the New Hire Group.
- User Record: Use this method when you want to troubleshoot an assignment for a user. The User Record provides a link to all assigned training so that you can easily edit the existing assignment.
- User Training Plan Status Report: Use this method when you want to troubleshoot an assignment or a user. This report indicates how the assignment was made so that you can easily find the original assignment.
MANAGE ASSIGNMENTS SCREEN
Follow these steps to locate an assignment when you know the activity or qualification name.
- Click the Administration tab at the top of the screen.
- Click Assignments, then Assignments on the left menu bar.
- Hide Assignments Before: Click the drop down and select Show All.
- Click the Search button.
- Complete one of the fields as follows:
- Bulk: Enter the Bulk ID number located in the Bulk column of the User Training Plan Status Report to search for an assignment with a Bulk ID.
- Training Assigned: Type all or part of the qualification or activity name.
- Assigned To: Type all or part of the organization unit, group or user name.
- Click the Go button.
- The LMS will return with any matching search results.

USER TRAINING PLAN STATUS REPORT
Follow these steps to run the User Training Plan Status Report to locate an assignment when you do not how the assignment was made. Refer to the User Training Plan Status Report to learn more about the report.
- Click the Administration tab at the top of the screen.
- Click Reports, then User Reports on the left menu bar.
- Search and locate the User Training Plan Status Report
- Click the View button in the Actions column
- Users: Click the Select button to the right of the Users field
- Look For: Select Users, an Organization Unit or Group from the drop down
- Search and locate the record you need
- Double click on the name of the user, organization unit or group from the Available Records table to move the record to the Selected Records table.
- Repeat these steps until all users, organization units or groups have been selected.
- Click the Select button
- Status Type: All status default as checked. Keep all status checked.
- Show Electives: Defaults as checked. Uncheck if you are not troubleshooting electives.
- Show Future Activities: Check to include activities that will start on a future date. For example, a recurring activity. This is helpful to determine if the activity was already completed and will be required to be completed again as a result of a recurring assignment.
- Show Activities That Have Ended: Check to include activities that have ended. For example, a one-time assignment or recurring assignment that ended because it is no longer required. This is helpful to determine if the status of the activity at the time the assignment ended and no longer appears on the training tab.
- Cover Page: Always uncheck.
